GENERAL  
This Section includes the fixed charges for any Customer desiring such service in the Franchise Area.
 
RECONNECTION (Single-Phase)
1.0 Reconnection Charge for Single-Phase Customers:
1.1 Each service which is re-established during normal working hours (*) $ 30.00
1.2 Each service which is re-established after normal working hours (*) 120.00
1.3 Each service which is re-established via pole reconnection during normal working hours (*) 60.00
1.4 Each service which is re-established via pole reconnection after normal working hours (*) 120.00
   
RECONNECTION (Three-Phase)
2.0 Reconnection Charge for Three-Phase Customers:
2.1 Each service which is re-established during normal working hours (*) $ 40.00
(*) - Normal working hours means proper arrangements for reconnection are made during the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on any day the HMLP employees normally work. Arrangements made after 3:00 p.m. will be considered after normal working hours unless Customer accepts reconnection on the next business day.
2.2 Each service which is re-established after normal working hours (*) $120.00
2.3 Each service which is re-established via pole reconnection during normal working hours (*) 60.00
2.4 Each service which is re-established via pole reconnection after normal working hours (*) 120.00
   
LINE EXTENSION

3.0 Overhead Electric Line Extensions. For use where installing overhead electric lines per Section VII LINE EXTENSIONS. Does not include metering, transformers, switches or capacitor installations.

Does not include installation in swampy areas requiring excessive guying, rock blasting and/or tree trimming.

Rates are not applicable for jobbing which is based on actual cost plus overhead.
All installed equipment is the property of the HMLP and is to be maintained, improved upon and/or removed only by the HMLP.

Does not apply to Service Laterals.

(*) - Normal working hours means proper arrangements for reconnection are made during the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on any day the HMLP employees normally work. Arrangements made after 3:00 p.m. will be considered after normal working hours unless Customer accepts reconnection on the next business day.

The following charges apply to all line extensions in Section VII LINE EXTENSIONS.

3.1 Single-phase primary $3.80/feet
3.2 Three-phase primary 7.50/feet
3.3 Secondary line extension triplex 3.80/feet
3.4 Secondary line extension quadraplex 4.80/feet
   
UNDERGROUND INSTALLATION

4.0 Underground Line Extensions - URD per Section VIII:
4.1Single-phase primary feed or secondaries $2.00/feet
4.2 Three-phase primary feed 5.00/feet
 

SERVICE LATERALS

5.0 Overhead service lateral per Section III beyond the first 125 feet in length and the first pole will be at the current labor, transportation and material costs plus a charge of 38% on material and 58% on labor and transportation to cover indirect overhead costs plus 17% on the total to cover administrative and general costs.

   
TEMPORARY SERVICE (Single-Phase)
6.0 Temporary Single-Phase Service:
6.1 Installation and removal of service pole
     40 foot or smaller pole $350.00
     45 foot or 50 foot 400.00
     55 foot or 60 foot 450.00
 
6.2 Installation and removal of service drop and self contained meter (load less than 200 amps) 200.00
6.3 Installation and removal of service drop and transformer rated meter (load exceeds 200 amps) 300.00
6.4 Installation and removal of transformer  
     25 kVA or less $291.00
     25 kVA to 75 kVA 349.00
6.5 Installation and removal of primary and/or secondary wiring are as per Item 3.0. thru 3.4.
   
TEMPORARY (Three-Phase)  
7.0 Temporary Three-Phase Service:  
7.1 Installation and removal of service pole  
     40 feet or less $350.00
     45 feet or 50 feet 400.00
     55 feet or 60 feet 450.00
7.2 Installation and removal of service drop and self contained meter (load less than 200 amps) 200.00
7.3 Installation and removal of service drop and transformer rated meter (load exceeds 200 amps) 300.00
7.4 Installation and removal of service drop and transformer rated meter (load exceeds 200 amps and secondary at 480/227 volts) 455.00
7.5 Installation and removal of transformers  
     3 - 25 kVA or less 880.00
     3 - 25 to 75 kVA 995.00
   
RENTALS
8.0 Rental charges:
8.1 Use of pole for private use, new pole installed by HMLP -
     40 ft. or less $200.00
     45 ft. or 50 ft 300.00
     55 ft. or 60 ft 400.00
8.2 Use of pole for private equipment to serve public, per attachment, per year (CATV) 8.00
   
SPECIAL CHARGES  
9.0 Meter tested upon Customer's request - other than periodical test per Section IV METERING:
9.1 Tested meter not within HMLP tolerance N/C
9.2 Tested meter is within HMLP tolerance $15.00
9.3 A bad check charge of $15.00 each will be assessed when a check is returned as not negotiable.
9.4 A broken meter seal will incur a $15.00 charge unless authorized by HMLP or broken by HMLP.
   
SPECIAL PROVISIONS  
10.0 For any other service not listed in this Section or elsewhere covered in this Schedule the charge will be according to the current jobbing rate plus energy as per one of the applicable Rate Classifications.
