Fun Fact: A "day burner" is a streetlight that's on during the daytime. Our LED streetlights rely on photoelectric eyes to turn on at night, but occasionally they need repair and stay on all day!

Just before 5:00 AM, customers in South Hingham, including High Street, Cross Street, French Street, and nearby areas, experienced a brief power interruption caused by an issue on the transmission system outside of Hingham.
